Adding Test Items

In this step, we will create a text post and a static image entry then assign the two items to the playlist we created earlier.

  1. Head over to your dashboard, and choose “Text”
  2. Click the plus sign button to create a new entry.

  3. Fill in the form by entering a reference “Name” and the formatted “Content” using the WYSIWYG editor. The “Name” field, in this and every other component, is a private internal identifier. The “Content” field is what gets rendered publicly.

  4. Tick the checkbox(es) in front of the playlist(s) you want to assign the entry to.

  5. Create the record by clicking “Submit”.
Note how the same item can be assigned to multiple playlists simultaneously.

Repeat the process described above, but this time choose the “Images” component instead.

You may now preview your bear playlist by going to the playlist section.

Then click the preview icon of the playlist you would like to see live.
